Timescaled PERT chart

Here is an example of a Timescaled PERT chart. You can display the vertical time bands by Day, Week, Month, Quarter or Year increments. You can choose to display the tasks that Start within the specified time period or display the tasks that Finish within the time period. 

Non Timescaled PERT chart

Even without a timescale, PERT charts are time-oriented. This means that tasks flow from left to right based on their dependencies. Without a timescale, a task will never be placed to the left of its predecessor.
