Grouping

In PERT Chart EXPERT you can group tasks in bands across the page by Resource Names, Resource Groups, the Outline Levels in Microsoft Project or by the Text fields you have defined.

Here is an example of a PERT chart that has been grouped by the Resources in the project. You can even click and drag to reassign a task from one resource to another.

You can also group tasks by the Outline Levels of the project. If you are using Microsoft Project, grouping by Outline allows you to group the tasks by the summary tasks in Microsoft Project. If you have created summary tasks in the Gantt Chart of Microsoft Project to define the phases of your project, you can use these summary tasks to create groups. The example below shows a PERT chart grouped the the major summary tasks in a project.
